Magnetic trial

In the first years when L&G was investigating the phonecard product, a few magnetic readers were acquired from Hewlett Packard, and installed in payphones to test customer behaviour with the phonecard product.
After some small scale field trials, L&G installed some Magnetic phonecard payphones in the lobby of the Frantel Windsor hotel. Cards were encoded upon payment at the lobby desk, and magnetic uncoded cards are actually MINT UNUSED cards, because they were only charged with units just prior to usage by the hotel customer.
