Red Sodeco 120u
Known serial number range
03 020484 to
03 022129
We show 2 pictures here to show that the band is often heavily damaged during unit erasure.

The first demos for the Frankfurt trials of L&G technology are all this type. (Vermillion Sodeco) The early trials, test and service cards are mostly the same deep wine red colour (1980-1982). The second stage of testing (1983-1984), where the Deutsche Bundespost branded cards begin production, the colour of the cards are bright red.
Toward the end of the Frankfurt trials in around 1984, cards with thermal band are produced, but the trial ends with the selection of Siemens Chip cards chosen for the National phonecard telephone network.
