This card is most likely an early demo from Philips intended to test the Philips smart card for possible inclusion in the Lillestrom trials. Bull CP8 cards were used almost exclusively for the Banking cards in the succeeding years. Philips were assiged the city of Caen in France for the IPSO trials.
