FAKE POPE CARD.
The first 2 cards of Venezuela were produced to commemorate the visit of Pope John Paul II in January 1985
The 50 unit cards in the market generally are FAKE, or COUNTERFEIT !!!!!
BEWARE !!!!
They were produced only as the BS50,00, as far as we have seen.
The fake cards are easily identified, as they are glossy, and all the printing is crisp and sharply defined. There is no stamped 04 control number, and the grey reverse is not a genuine magslurry and not magnetically coded.
Genuine cards are MATTE finish, and less crisply printed, with less definition in the print colour separation. Fake on the left here:
